Staff Experience/Supervision
Experience in supervising staff and volunteers preferred
Able to recruit and help train new volunteers as needed
Demonstrated ability to delegate and release ministry to others—comfortable letting others take responsibility even if not accomplished perfectly
Talents/Abilities/Interests
Must be willing to complete basic administrative tasks
Can build and sustain lasting friendships and relationships within congregation.
The Pastor should be emotionally mature in interpersonal relations with strong problem solving, conflict resolution and listening skills
Personal Qualifications
Age: We would prefer someone 30-55 in age, but are open to God’s leading for other ages, based on wide variation in age preference on our survey.
Previous Pastoral Experience: Demonstrated commitment to the growth and health of the local church or significant ministry.
Education: Seminary/graduate school preferred; or Bible/theology degree at undergraduate level
