Associate Pastor of Assimilation and Congregational Care
Summary and Purpose:
Crosspoint Alliance Church is a vibrant and growing community located in Perham, Minnesota, known as the heart of lakes country in Western Minnesota. The church has an average attendance of 350 people per week with a diverse mix of all ages. One area of focus is our youth ministry where we have 200 plus teens walk through our doors throughout the week. The church is active in the community and seeing God regularly bringing new people in the doors.
Crosspoint is looking for a Godly leader to serve as our associate pastor who will work with our leadership team with a focus on assimilation and congregation care. The leadership sees this as a crucial part of fulfilling our mission to point people of all backgrounds toward a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement processes to create a clear assimilation pathway for move new attendees toward a walk with Christ and ministry involvement. This also involves developing a team to make this happen.
Work with our hospitality team to make sure that everyone is welcome.
Work with our small group team to ensure that people are in a setting where they can be discipled.
Develop and direct our congregational care team to ensure that our church family is cared for.
Partner with the leadership team in other areas of gifting such as preaching, outreach, or day-to-day ministry functions.
Qualifications
A committed relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to grow
Licensed with the Alliance or a willingness to pursue licensing/ordination.
Demonstrated experience in developing and leading a ministry is preferred.
