Summary and Purpose:
Nashwauk Alliance Church is seeking a Godly man to serve as our Lead Pastor. As a small town in the Iron Range of Minnesota, we are looking for someone who will guide us to actively seek out the lost in our community. We have a well established leadership team that is ready to move forward in the next phase of God’s calling for our church.
Education
Bible or Theology degree at undergrad level or higher preferred
Credentialed by The Christian & Missionary Alliance or working towards it
Previous Pastoral Experience
5-10 years of ministry experience desired with one tenure of at least 5 years in length as senior pastor preferred
Experience and/or willingness to work with students
Personality Style
Genuine - knows their own strengths and weaknesses
Accountable - willing to be submissive to the elders
Loves God Deeply
Problem Solving - Ability to find wise solutions
Growth mind-set - takes on hard situations and grows from them
Family
A single pastor or one with a family is welcomed. If the pastor has a family, ideally the family would also plug in to the life of the church
